I love Easter, but I’m not a fan of the post-celebration sugar crash. These Easter egg action cards are the perfect solution – they’re fun, energy-burning and even educational! Whether you use them as a non-candy Easter egg stuffer on the big day or sneak them in as a playful counting activity, they’re sure to make your kiddos smile.

Getting Ready

To prep, I simply printed the free action cards (below) and cut along the dashed lines to separate the strips.

(You could step up the fun factor by printing the sheet on neon cardstock too!)

I grabbed one card at a time, folded it in fourths, and placed it inside a plastic Easter egg.

When all of the eggs were stuffed, I scurried around the house hiding them just like the Easter Bunny.

Action Easter Egg Hunt

Middle Brother (age 4.5) couldn’t wait to start! He eagerly ran from one room to the next hunting for eggs. Each time he found one, he opened it and pulled out the action card hiding inside.

FREE Easter egg action cards! Such a fun non-candy Easter egg stuffer.

He hopped like a bunny, kicked like a ninja, twirled and sideways stepped. He loved the challenge of finding his next egg and I loved that he was burning off some extra energy, counting AND reading! It was a major win-win.
