Action dice are such a fun rainy day activity or brain break idea! Use these free action dice to get out some serious wiggles.
To prep, I simply print the activity (below) on cardstock to give them extra durability and cut along the outside lines.
Then, I folded the cube and hot glued the tabs in the correct spots to secure them in place. Since your kiddos will love this game, it might be a good idea to print several copies so you have extras when the dice gets a little crumpled.
Playing with the Action Dice
Using the dice couldn’t be any simpler. One rainy and cold afternoon, when the kids needed to burn off a little steam, I pulled out the dice and invited them to take turns rolling one.
They waddled like a penguin, breached like a whale and scurried like a squirrel. With sight words and animal names on each card, the activity was also a motivating way to build vocabulary!
Additionally, it was great way for them to get up and moving in the house when we otherwise couldn’t go outside.
One of the best things about this game is that, after the kids have been playing for little a while, it can be played independently!
