Teach Kids to Tie Shoes

May 20, 2015

Activity for ages 3 to 6.

Want to teach kids how to tie shoes? This quick and easy trick will have them lacing up in a flash. I promise – with just five minutes, you can teach your kids how to tie shoes too.

Teach Kids How to Tie ShoesWhen my oldest was ready to turn in his Velcro and learn how to tie shoes, I went on a hunt for a surefire trick that would keep him from getting frustrated. What I discovered put the classic bunny ear rhyme I’d learned as a kid to shame. This “Magic Finger” trick was so simple that my son learned it in a jiffy.

Since pictures speak a thousand words, check out the video {below} to learn how to tie shoes like a champ too.

Thank you. These fresh morning greeting are just what I need to revive my kinder morning meeting. I like the props & the use of familiar songs. I’m going to try the “Who do you see?” greeting tomorrow!
