100th Day of School Trail Mix Mats

These free 100th day of school trail mix mats are great to use with big and little kids alike. Just print the free 100th day of school trail mix mats (below), count out the goodies and munch away.

They’re the perfect complement to our Playdough Mats in our shop!

For preschoolers, they’re a fun way to practice counting to ten. For kindergarteners and first graders, they’re a helpful visual for learning about skip counting and making groups of ten (a step toward multiplication).

P.S. If you need a gluten free or sugar free version, check out the EDITABLE version here.

100th Day of School Trail Mix

To get ready, simply print your 100th Day Trail Mix Mats (below). If you’ll be using the mats in the classroom, you may want to laminate them for extra durability and reuse.

Next, grab your trail mix ingredients. Every child will need ten pieces of each of the following:

  • Fruit Loops
  • Cheese balls
  • Chocolate chips
  • Pretzels
  • Raisins
  • Crackers
  • Gumdrops
  • Gummy bears
  • Popcorn
  • Marshmallows

Have kids use their mats to count out ten of each ingredient. Then, skip count by tens to total up the 100 pieces of trail mix. Easy-peasy and super tasty!  You can take care of snack time while having a bunch of fun counting!

  1. You have 10 Craisins twice on the mats. Left off popcorn, I think. I’d like to print and use it, if that gets changed. Otherwise, I’ll try to make my own. It’s a great mat to use for this activity. Thanks for sharing!
