Peek Inside

The Groundhog Day pack includes 13 activities in all!

Students solve a batch of 1-20 counting clip cards to work on ten frames and counting on.

They practice immediately recognizing the numbers 1 to 6 OR (for kids who are ready) you can easily differentiate by having them work on addition.

Learn 2D shape names and characteristics as students race to the finish line…

Then take their learning one step further by having them graph their results.

Make predictions about whether the groundhog will see his shadow.

Then practice upper and lowercase pairs.

Match up each letter with a word that starts with it.

Review by spinning a letter and coloring a matching beginning sound.

Then dive into reading and writing sight words with a fun round of Don’t Wake the Groundhog.

(The game is EDITABLE so you can practice any words under the sun!)

Make your sight words magically appear!

Build students’ creativity as you work on finishing two story starters.

(These make an ADORABLE class bulletin board!)

And stretch kids’ imaginations while they answer “If I Were a Groundhog…”
