Playdough to Plato and The STEM Laboratory are growing!
We want to help teachers and homeschoolers find even more super fun and effective activities for kids. Bringing the most amazing ideas means adding awesome contributors. If you’d like to join our team, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
We’re on the hunt for teaching and parenting bloggers who love teaching in creative, effective ways.
Since Pinterest is one of our biggest sources of traffic, contributors need solid photography skills to beautifully capture their creative ideas.
In addition, contributors need strong writing skills so that they can communicate their activities clearly.
And team members are expected to be professional – staying accountable to deadlines.
Previous WordPress blogging experience is a plus but isn’t required.
What It Means to Be a Contributor
If selected, you will write one post a month sharing one of the following activities for preschool, kindergarten, 1st or 2nd graders:
- Printable math game
- Printable reading game
- Printable writing activity or craftivity
- Science experiment
- Craft project
Depending on the blog you are assigned to, you will log in to the Playdough to Plato or STEM Laboratory WordPress site to write your post and upload your photos. All posts are due on the last day of the month so that they can be scheduled to post the following month.
The Perks
Playdough to Plato and The STEM Laboratory have hundreds of thousands of visitors and social media followers who are eager to discover fresh ideas.
In addition to exposure to our blog visitors, contributing writers receive $75 per post paid on the first of each month and, if they have a blog, they also receive at least one social media share on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter each month.
