Getting Ready

To make the cards, I printed the freebie on cardstock to give them some extra durability. I cut them apart and grabbed our stash of dollar store clothespins.

(If you’ll be using the cards in a classroom, you may also want to laminate them to make them extra hardy.)

Clip Card Counting Activity

It was time to begin! Middle Brother happily grabbed a card and counted the rainboots on top. “Seven,” he announced proudly. He picked up a clothespin and clipped it to the number 7.

Fun rainy day clip cards. Great for a spring or weather unit.

He eagerly grabbed the next card and clipped the number that matched and made his way through the counting activity successfully.
