Kids love learning about space – planets, moons, rockets – you name it. This print-and-play kids’ bingo game helps little astronauts memorize the names and characteristics of the eight planets in our solar system, plus our favorite satellite in the sky: the moon!

Getting Ready
To prep, I printed Outer Space Kids’ Bingo (below) on cardstock to give it extra strength and then cut along the grey lines to separate the pieces.
Note: If you’ll be using the game in a classroom, you may also want to laminate the set so it will hold up to plenty of reuse.
I grabbed 9 glass stones for each player and placed the bingo calling cards face down in the middle of the table.
(If you don’t have glass stones on hand, other cover up tokens that work well are coins, beans, dry pasta – even star buttons to go along with the space theme!)
Outer Space Kids’ Bingo
Middle Brother (age 4.5) was eager to get started! He turned over the top card in the pile and eagerly named the planet that appeared: Earth!
He grabbed one of his stones and placed it in the right spot on his gameboard.
The next two cards showed the moon and Saturn, so he was THRILLED when card #4 displayed a bright red Mars. He’d covered three spots in a row just like that!
Middle Brother happily cleared off his board, mixed up the calling cards and started playing a new round.
