In reply to <a href="https://www.playdoughtoplato.com/kool-aid-playdough/#comment-210126">Sharon</a>.

Hi Sharon,

This dough tends not to last as long as other play doughs made without kool-aid. After about a month it gets kinda sticky. Also, despite it's yummy smell it is still pretty darn salty, but since it's totally safe to eat it might not hurt to let your 3 year old try to tease you by eating some. The horrible taste coupled with your nonchalant reaction just might take all the fun out of teasing you! Have fun and good luck!

Hi....It amazes me how there are so many fun and wonerful smelling play doughs to be made. Forget ever buying again. Lol One thing bothering me is my 3 yr old grandson is going through this spell of "teasing" like he is going to put certain things in his mouth. I am wondering if these wonderful smelling playdoughs would Not be a good idea right now. I am thinking though, if he succeeded putting some in his mouth, he would soon spit it out even if it did smell good. Loved the green apple playdough but since it had hair conditioner, I decided against it. ******The purpose of this note was to originally ask what the longevity of most of the playdough recipes is??????? Thanks for such a huge selection o choose from.
