The tens would be glued next to 11, 21, etc. Then the zero gets written right above the 10. Makes so much more sense to me.

Zero isn’t a counting number. I suppose you could put it above the 10? Otherwise, it would throw off all of the patterns. I’m curious to know what you would plan to do with the zero if it were included on the chart?
