Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed is one of my family’s all time favorite rhymes for kids. It’s been my secret weapon when I needed a quick distraction in doctors’ waiting rooms, airplanes, restaurants… you name it. This set of free printable Five Little Monkeys finger puppets is an easy and fun way to bring the classic rhyme to life.

Five Little Monkeys Finger Puppets

To make the puppets, print a copy of the Five Little Monkeys freebie (below) on cardstock. {Using cardstock makes them a little more sturdy.} Carefully cut out each puppet and hot glue or tape the tips together to make a ring that fits around your finger.

Rhymes for Kids

Slide one puppet on each finger and you’re ready to go.

Five Little Monkeys Lyrics

Use the Five Little Monkeys lyrics included in the freebie to sing the song. The words go like this:

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,

One fell off and bumped his head,

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,

“No more monkeys jumping on the bed.”

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed,

One fell off and bumped his head,

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said,

“No more monkeys jumping on the bed.”

{Continue counting down…}
