I appreciate the “for boys” part be ause I have a classroom of all rough and tough, energetic boys this year. It narrowed my search and yet anyone can choose to use it regardless of gender. Sorry so many missed the point and feel the need to argue… Thank you for the resources!

Is there overlap? Yes. Education is not one-size-fits-all, but if you don’t acknowledge that there are some differences sometimes, the children will suffer the consequences.

The intention of the round up was it to be a jumping board for teachers and parents who are looking for motivating ways to give boys alphabet practice. It was in no way meant to be exclusive to boys only. ?

I love these ideas but think it’s terrible that this is labelled for “boys”. My daughter pretends shes a super hero, loves dinosaurs, construction vehicles, and watches garbage and fire trucks in awe. Let’s teach our girls to be fierce strong leaders and that their passions are limitless.

Hi Kate! The roundup was created as inspiration for parents and teachers of boys. It’s not exclusive – just inspired by the things my own boys love most. I’m sure many girls will love the games too.
