My boys are huge LEGO fans. They could spend hours designing, building and tweaking their creations. So when I found out about a new LEGO idea book packed with inspiring projects, I knew it would be the perfect addition to our building area.

100+ LEGO Projects

When my super talented blogging friend, Sarah over on Frugal Fun for Boys, announced that she was putting together a collection of brand new LEGO projects, I knew it would be a must-buy. LEGOS are her “thing” after all. My boys could spend hours pouring through her amazing collection of LEGO designs.

But once her much anticipated book published, the projects surpassed my expectations.

The designs are incredibly creative and the detailed parts list makes it easy for my boys to find exactly what they need to build them.

My builders’ (ages 5 and 6.5) decided to start small and build a vehicle that would really move.

We didn’t have the exact colors and parts we needed to make the final product match the picture in the book but the boys didn’t mind – it actually spurred great discussions about how they could improvise.

Sarah’s Awesome LEGO Creations book inspired a MAJOR building session and I know the fun has just begun. The book includes robots, knights and dragons, trucks and things that fly, a LEGO town, creatures and even games you can actually play with like table top foosball and spinning tops!
