{Malia – Founder}

Malia is a National Board Certified elementary teacher turned stay at home mama to three young kids {4, 2.5 and 5 months}. She earned her  Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education {go Stanford Cardinal!} and spent seven years teaching in a classroom. Since starting Playdough to Plato in 2012, her ideas have been featured in Parenting Magazine, I Can Teach My Child and Kiwi Crate. You can contact Malia by email at [email protected].


{Angela – Social Media Manager}

Angela is Playdough to Plato’s social media manager and a proud mom to two boys {ages 6 and 1.5} and a girl {age 4}. She stays busy Facebooking her favorite kids’ activities with Playdough to Plato fans.


{Jenny – Contributing Writer}

Jenny is a former elementary school teacher and one of our three contributing writers. She feels blessed to share her life with her amazing husband, two sweet daughters, and a lovely community of family and friends. Her passion is helping others reach their potential as both educators and advocates for change.  Check out Jen’s sidewalk skip counting activity.

Jen is a mom of two {ages 5 and 1} who loves cross stitching, surfing Pinterest and finding fun and creative ways to get her kids learning. Check out Jen’s Rainbow Jar.


{Noirin Lynch – Contributing Writer}

Noirin is a former preschool teacher who loves seeing the sense of accomplishment that beams from a child’s face when they master a new skill. She’s a proud mama to a daughter {age 4} and son {1.5} and likes taking outdoor adventures with her kids, crafting and party planning.
