The Busy Teacher's Guide to Staying Fashionable. Tons of time and money saving tips for staying stylish.

Online Personal Shopper

About two years ago, one of my super trendy friends told me about Stitch Fix – an online personal shopping service – and my life was forever changed.

I hopped online to enter my sizes and fill out a little personal style quiz.

Animal prints? No thanks. Stripes? Love, love, love!

Then a stylist used my answers to hand pick five items in my size and budget. The box of goodies arrived at my doorstep a few days later along with style cards showing how each item could be worn with things I might already have in my closet.

So many easy ways to stay fashionable on a budget.

It’s SO HARD for me to visualize how things work together so I post the cards to a cute little pin board I hung in the closet for those in-a-rush kind of mornings.

I tried each piece on and, with my husband’s input, picked my favorites. I placed the returns in the mailing envelope and dropped it off at the post office. Easy peasy.

Can you see why I’m totally hooked obsessed?!  Getting my Stitch Fix box each month feels like Christmas morning.

When I have a big event coming up, I send my stylist a note and she sends me dresses.

When I’m heading out on a vacation, I let her know and she mails fun clothes for the trip.

I haven’t even walked into a department store in months. I love it!

And the best part is that my Stitch Fix stylist keeps me on trend. I feel good knowing that my outfits are on point and can easily mix and match.

I am super obsessed. Such an easy way to stay fashionable on a budget!
