Rhymes for Kids: Five Little Bunnies Finger Puppets

Activity for ages 1 to 5.

Rhymes for kids are a fabulous was to keep your kids entertained or distracted! My current go-to, guaranteed slam dunk rhyme is “Five Little Bunnies”.  Since my boys love HEARING the words so much, I was excited to create a set of free printable bunny finger puppets they could use to act out the rhyme. Rhymes for kids help them begin to compare ending sounds in words- an important early reading skill! And the puppets provided a hands-on way to connect to the silly story.

To join in the fun, cut out your own copy of the printable {available in the right hand column}.  Then, place one bunny on each finger.

Five Little Bunnies Lyrics

Recite the words included in your packet:

Five little bunnies knocked on the door.

One hopped away

And then there were four.

Then bend one finger down like this:

Continue reciting the rhyme and bending down one finger after each verse until all of the bunnies have disappeared. That’s it! Pretty easy, huh?!
